Ok so here is my plan: I am going to research all the churches, soup kitchens, food opportunities. research shelters. research places that help ex convicts gain employment. research free mental health and drug dependency help. Locations and numbers and times of availability. shelters for women and children. All in Hartford. Then I am going to type it up. Make many coppies of it. And, carry with me one sandwich every day that I venture out into Hartford. And, when someone approaches me and asks for money for food, I am going to hand them my typed paper of contacts. And, offer them a sandwich incase they are" really" hungry. Also, I am seeking donations of bus tokens or bus passes. I have a list of items I am willing to trade for that I will post soon. This way, if someone really needs food or a shelter, they have bus transport to get there. I have put alot of thought into this. Also: if anyone has one of those sandwich cooler packs to keep a sandwich pack cold. brown paper bags. zip lock bags to put sandwiches in and the typed paper so it doesnt get wet. and if anyone wants to just donate these things.
