Ok so heres a little background that most people dont know. I was adopted at 3 months old. I was adopted by great parents who are and always will be mommy and daddy. I searched for my biological parents since I was 18 but with sealed records it wasnt an easy feat. However, my stubbornness paid off a few years ago and I located my biological dad. My biological mom passed away several years prior. My biological dad didnt even know I existed and has been a part of my life and my kids lives ever since. I call him pops. I asked my daddy if it was ok if pops hands me to him during the ceremony as I thought it would be symbolic and cool. Daddy agreed and so did pops. So on my wedding day, as I came out of the cottage, pops helped me down the stairs and walked me over to the isle where he handed my hand to my daddy to walk me down the isle to my groom. Many guests who knew the background story teared up at this point, and dragonflies were buzzing around like crazy! I like to think that my biological mom was watching from above and proud of this moment. So heres photos of pops and my daddy. Not too many brides get two wonderful men walking her to her groom.
