Ok so heres the thing. I want to believe a person is acting in the best interest of the community. But I have an issue with access to my local beach. These photos dont tell the whole story and I am endeavouring to learn all there is to know about these circumstances. I applaud the community members for their affirmative actions but have to question a few things but the most relevant right now is that this beach access was built for the purpose of giving everyone fair access to The Lakes Beach on our beautiful Central Coast. But political grandstanding and petty differences aside, what is the go with signage that says disabled access at the ramps but on the stairs says able bodied access here? Is it necessary to have a sign stating that? I know my feelings in that but I wanted to hear others. I will be speaking with the project manager of this very impressive piece of engineering this afternoon and would appreciate some feedback. Secondary I attempted to assist a client to use the brand new toilet facility only to find I need to apply for a key to fain access. What am I missing here?
