Ok, so i am home now and am so glad this week is over! I stressed over teaching a class and representing a show in the same week! Everything went so smoothly this week and I was feeling pretty good...I had Mets Schilstra helping me with my class as my second pair of arms.....we finished class today at 12:00 pm because everyone was so motivated to help me get done early today....everything moved along nicely UNTIL 6:00PM....I was literally 1 mile from the art gallery all dressed up and ready to shine! LOL....so I thought! In true Mindy fashion, I had to put gas in my car and so I pulled into the local BP. Put in a full tank! $65.00 worth, it clicked that it was done. As I pulled out the hose, it was like a running hose of water and GAS literally drenched my dress, my shoes, my arms, etc. You can only imagine what I said! So now I go into the bathroom of the local BP to try and clean up...no paper towels and no soap! After nearly in tears, the worker gives me a paper towel roll and says hes so sorry... LUCKILY, I had a spare change of dress clothes in my car because for once I was undecided what to wear....I literally bathed myself in the BP gas station the best I could! Had to wash my shoes in the sink with soap and water! Seriously? Only me....I doused myself with as much Juicy couture perfume that I could without smelling like a ho.....So, my game at the art show was drink a lot of wine and move around constantly....I still smelled like Gas! I had to laugh because Mets told me, Well look on the bright side, at least you stand out. With that, I asked for more wine! What a lovely night! h
