Ok, so i have some friends on the left (whom I respect sincerely) suggest Im partisan. Setting aside the fact I happen to be a Republican...I just want you guys who are supporting Crist to consider....everything thats been said about his political expediency and using others to help himself is already happening to you right in front of your face. Let me explain...chronologically. As a State Senator...Charlie Crist calls for putting inmates in chains on the side of the road and when pressed about the fact so many inmates are African American and Hispanic, he acknowledges the symbolism and pushes forward anyway. Today, he is visiting black churches proclaiming to be the guy who understands their hurt. When Bill Clinton was President, Charlie Crist called for his resignation. Then a few weeks ago, took the stage with him to take advantage of Clintons popularity. In a Republican primary for Governor, Crist runs as a Jeb Bush Republican, even putting a picture of him with Jeb on his website. The day after the primary, the picture of Jeb is removed and Charlie runs away from Jebs record. During the General Election for Governor, Crist asks President Bush to come campaign for him. Then, when he does show up, Crist stands him up because the Presidents popularity had taken a hit. When Barack Obamas popularity was in the stratosphere, Crist couldnt wait to share a stage with him to embrace the stimulus. Then, later, as a Candidate for the US Senate as a Republican, denied supporting the stimulus and opposed Obamacare. Then, as an independent candidate for the US Senate, changed his position (multiple times depending on the audience). And then, when he saw his only chance for getting elected again was as a Democrat, Crist made a calculated move to embrace Obama (a good gamble on his part at the time). Declaring himself a Democrat at the Obama White House, Crist then embraced everything about the President because he knew he was going to run in a Democratic primary. And he embraced Obama throughout his primary when he ran against Nan Rich, a devout lifelong Democrat who carried the water for the Democrat party in the Legislature. And now...today....Crist refuses to be seen with President Obama. Folks...Hes doing it to you already. When convenient, he will push you away to serve his own interests. When he needed Barack Obama, he embraced him. Now, Obama hurts him, so he refuses to be seen with him. Florida Democrats, be prepared to be disappointed on multiple levels if Crist becomes your Governor. If he is willing to shove your partys standard-bearer aside today, you can only imagine what he will do later when it suits him. I can understand him not wanting to be seen with Obama today....but seriously, only months ago, Crist was going to every single democratic venue to tell them how much he loved Barack Obama. And today? Cricket.... Welcome to the world of Charlie Crist.... If any of you can find me a politician who has been this calculating, name him or her. Please....
