Ok,so in 2000,the ndc lost the General elections to the npp.Because the Jerry John Rawlings did not develop the country or get development to the country sides? He did all those things,indeed at the time he was leaving office,petrol was 6500 cedis,now 65pesewas. We had the npp taking over,within 4yrs,the price of petrol went up by 150%. With this in mind,the ndc mobilised with the then candidate Atta Mills,we fought very hard at the time when the npp decided to use the States prosecution power to hound ndc appointees into comatose. But we rally around the BIG UMBRELLA,we went into the elections with Dr Obed Asamoah believing that our candidate was not winnable.So by 2004,we were ready to come to power,and the actual record is there for everyone. So in 2008,we had a different set of National Executives,led by the distinguished Johnson Asiedu Nketiah aka General Mosquito,we won that election. We went into the 2012 elections,heavily bruised,we had one of notable women organisers leaving us to form a new party,I mean Mrs Rawlings. We had our Presidential Candidate leaving us to a higher call,the late President John Evans Fiifi Attah Mills.May his gentle and affable soul rest in peace. So somewhere in late August,we had President John Dramani Mahama becoming our candidate for the 2012 elections. It was impossible then to win an election within that short time,so he won that election against the seasoned Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo. That is the SPIRIT IN THE GREAT UMBRELLA. I am not moved by what I see,the unseen things frighten me most.I dont entertain bitter people. The strength of the NDC is unseen,u cant explain it. We will beat u when we have to,our strenth,our people,our goal. JM,IS THE CAPTAIN,RAWLINGS IS THE FOUNDER,NDC IS THE PARTY. #IT IS POSSIBLE#in God we trust
