Ok so it seems a few have lost faith in whats happening here. What this page was set up to do was to get you all talking about why the industry is in the shape its in and to bring solutions to the table to band together and maybe clean it up. That started out great then the egos started to get involved and it was a situation of heres there opinion and either agree with it or ill personally attack you . Well thats not going to solve anything is it. EVERYBODY is entitled to there opinion wether they are right or wrong and nobody has to agree with it but going off like a frog in a sock solves nothing. Then we have the comments and memes of stuff like throw a box on it or rack one up or f$&k the rms ect and those comments only destroy any credibility we have when it comes time to act. Take a step back and imagine if you were a officer of any government agency or better still a everyday person who has nothing to do with transport and you stumble across this page then read things like that!!!!!! What would you think? Im in the industry and even I think the people who are commenting those things ARE THE REASON WE ARE IN THIS SITUATION! wake up! Its 2014 and the glory days of racking one up and sending it are gone wether you like it or not! But besides the point The true old school blokes were professional operators and they looked and acted the part wether they had those things going on in the background or not , they didnt glorify why they did what they did they did what they had to do. And they had respect. Respect from the public and the law. Theses days you get a heap of slobs in a disgusting looking 2 year old heap who rack one up because they think they are cool and sit on there limiter 2 cm off each others ass holding each other out ect then filming themselves letting it go off a hill and calling it off tap or filming some poor bastard they just stuffed up and uploading it to you tube for nothing else but attention. and most have no respect for each other let alone anyone else on the rd! This is why the public hate us, and the public have cameras now so they will film you idiots doing this and guess what youl be famous on you tube as well! the coppers and the rms ect who have to deal with these disgraces that call themselves truck drivers on a daily basis know we will all turn on each other and give each other up, they know they will find something thats why they keep on targeting us the way they do. Well this is a wake up call! If you want to do something about it it starts in your own back yard. Its time to clean up this industry. So lets get back to discussing / debating/ sharing your opinions in a PROFESSIONAL manner and see what we as an industry can accomplish
