Ok so just reflecting on yesterday & before I proceed Im ok not even a scratch!! So Im walking through Mid Town carrying precious cargo, French sweet delights for my mum & dad re morning tea when I see people looking up at a building then some guys calling out AY AY AY HAY & people starting to scatter I look up & see a 4 -5 m, 1m high piece of sheet metal dropping from a 50 story building to land a metre from me and then proceed to hurtle towards me as Im running onto the road???!!! Well in true NYC fashion I checked to see if I was all ok, had all my belongings and the precious cargo was still intact, looked if everyone else was alright, responded to calls are you ok, gave the thumbs up & pressed on!!! I got to the intersection started to cry, pulled myself together onwards-arrived to see mum & dad and burst into tears just realising I had probably just got lucky!!! What a crazy day!!!
