Ok, so lots happening this week. I am amazed that there was an unanimous decision made on the future of the Town Hall. So much info re financial sustainability AND finances around the decision appears not to have been in the public arena prior to the decision. I am not keen to put heritage values up against the finances, as a blanket position however, for goodness sake! Lets be sensible and apply consideration on a case by case basis. I do hope this is not a "ccc win #1". "CERA nil" type of outcome. Hearing the mayors almost academy award speech at council this week following the decision, does make me wonder.
