Ok so meant to send out text last night bc she started looking better and numbers were looking better after the 2 units of blood...but then around 10 or so her heart rate and respiratory rate started going back up and continued to stay in 150 range until 3-4am. Good news her hemoglobin is up and seems to not be dropping so drastically. Doctors have still said that they will need to keep eye on it all day bc the sepsis is causing her not to make the red cells she needs... With that being said she will lost likely need blood again before this is over. On another note the blood is now also growing gram positive out(meaning another bacteria meaning another antibiotic). She is a little fussy this morning and seems to be having fever come back. Her right side is swelling but doctors say thats normal with everything going on and they arent to concerned . They did blood work that tells something about her clotting and all and that was all out of wack(not a hundred percent what that means) and also doing ECHO today to make sure there are no clots where her line goes into heart...will update as we know more
