Ok, so our insane month just got more insane. The Fire Department just left our house. We were sat watching TV and we could smell an electrical smell. We looked and checked everywhere but couldnt find anything. The back part of the room was even hazy. We called our landlord and he could smell it too. We decided to call the FD to ask their opinion on what we could ck. They decided to come out. After about 30 mins they finally found it. The plug socket on the back wall had a small š„fire and had fused the plug to the socket. If it had been left they said it would have most likely sparked a bigger fire during the night. We are grateful for trusting ourselves that it wasnt something to ignore. We are super grateful to Southington Fire Department for coming out and helping us. 4 firefighters, 1 fire Marshall and an electrician later we can sleep safely tonight!! The electrician will come and sort the wiring properly tomorrow. WHAT A WEEK!!
