Ok, so this article/video hits home with me & heres why... As most of my friends know, I have been VERY sick for quite sometime & in constant pain, to the point that Im disabled to the degree that I cannot work. Ive had 1 major & 3 subsequent mini strokes, aka TIAs... Without medication my blood pressure is uncontrollable as are my symptoms of Fibromyalgia. My skeleton is battered & broken from abuse & misuse, lol & I cant eat that damage away. My brain is damaged to the degree that I could throw my own surprise party, but Id probably forget where it is & yes, although it seems funny, it gets dangerous @ times like when cooking (which I do a lot of). My kids have learned to use it to their advantage because they know that no matter what I tell them to do, and how adamant I am about it, if they wait long enough, Ill totally forget about telling them to do it! Anyway, I digress! I am SO thankful & lucky to have a husband who has a job & a great work-ethic, & finally be able to disconnect from the system of food stamps, but at the same time, Ive lost my Medicaid coverage, & therefore my ability to get the medical attention I need. Im supposed to get labs to check my thyroid & clotting disorder, but who can afford that, out of pocket? Well, Ive wanted to get off of pharmaceuticals for a long time, but Im guessing that cold-turkey from 4 supposed life-saving meds at once because of No HEALTH COVERAGE will be Deadly. Who wants to take the place of Veximus DeLyrium as the Grim Reaper @ my funeral? You dont have to say or do anything, just solemnly stand there with a scythe, lol
