Ok... so this is not political. This is about respecting animals and their space to help prevent unfortunate accidents. Please, do not allow yours or anyones child to stand on your dog. A dog is not a stool. Please do not pull on dogs ears or force them to bare your weight. Most people wouldnt stand on a dashound or jack Russell or yorkie... big dogs are the ones at risk. Big dogs can mean big bites if they feel they must react in that way. Too many dogs have to carry biter as a life long tag simply because their owners did not do what was needed to keep the dogs at ease. Too many dogs lose their lives because people think dogs should never defend themselves when put in questionable situations. A picture of your child climbing on a dog is not cute. A picture of anyone laying on top of a dog is not cute... pulling ears or tails or sitting in a riding position is not cute. These things are dangerous for people and for the innocent dogs that will forever have to live as biters without being able to tell their side.
