Ok, so this is perhaps the weirdest post Ive ever made, but here goes. Ive recently been suffering a long state of insomnia averaging only 3 to 4 hours sleep most nights for the past 5 weeks. Feeling exhausted, I decided to take an afternoon nap, surprisingly, I fell in to perhaps the most vivid dream I have ever had. It was inexplicably powerful, and at the same time beautifully controversial in concept. It was so vivid that I could remember every detail as if it was a real memory. On waking, I was forced to write down the key features of the dream so that I would not forget it. As I wrote it down, I sensed that it sounded like a plot to a story I have never read, and as far as I know does not exist.The concept that the dream investigates is I think an exciting one, one that at present at least raises more questions than it actually answers. So here is the dilemma, Im no writer, but part of me feels insanely motivated to explore the possibility of writing a piece of fiction based on the controversial, perhaps mind bending questions posed within the dream. Or alternatively, perhaps I should just put it down to vivid imaginations brought on by sleep deprivation!
