Ok so you notice I have been lifting quotes from my friend and brother Manasseh Azure Awuni this morning from his latest piece. I have been told (and whenever i heard it my head felt light) that I write well and manage to speak the mind of many when I do. I also heard I was brave (really?). Well, Manasseh is a lot more of whatever some of you think I am. As expected, he has been tagged as NPP and anti-NDC. Manassehs love for his job, sense of patriotism and his ruthless abhorrence of corruption makes me love him to bits. We need people like him. This penchant of labeling everyone who voices concern over our nation as surrogates of the NPP is not only childish and infantile but also an affront to the thinking of the Ghanaians who live here and abroad. In our very many rants are serious and useful lessons that those who matter can learn from. Is not worth assuming that wisdom is only in the heads of those elected or appointed into office. We should allow ourselves to learn from each other. Nothing to do with envy or a desire to see someone fail. Matter of fact do we not all lose a lot when the government of the day fails? The failure of a government has a direct effect on its citizens. I know i dont wish the government to fail. Same as many others. Ghana is ours. All of us. Not the NPP or NDC. ALL of us.
