Ok, solid business idea #2: If you are interested in marketing AND being at special events, (Fairs, Festivals, big flea markets) Everybody needs bags, all the vendors. they almost universally opt for the t-shirt size bag. These bags (last time I checked cost about $12 per thousand from Sams Club and about $6 per thousand to have custom made (Wholesale) When a vendor hands over a bag, what is usually true? The bag is being received by someone who is (By Definition) a BUYER. So here is the idea: Have maybe 100k bags made with 2 ads imprinted, a free trial maybe, a compelling consumer offer. (You probably wont go wrong making it Female centric, most of these purchases are made by the woman. (I was a vendor for 10 years, I KNOW this...) You can then go to special events and sell the bags to greatful vendors for $9, undercutting Sams club on the retail price and essentially buying ad placement to KNOWN BUYERS for a NEGATIVE cost of roughly $3 cpm. Natch, split test the ads and try new things, but this one is, to the best of my knowledge, solid...
