Ok, some growler info for you... 1) Yes we fill growlers. Currently we fill 64oz growlers. That is what we base our pricing on. We are currently studying the demand for filling 32oz grumblers. Well let you know as soon as we come to a decision. 2) You can bring your own or you can buy one of ours ($3.99). Ours are new, not recycled. That means that they have never been used before and are clean. It is yours to keep, there is no deposit and sorry, but we will not provide a refund on a purchased growler. If you bring your own growler we would appreciate it if it is already clean. Otherwise we may refuse to fill it. 3) We do not have a license that allows us to give out samples of beer, so please dont ask. We also make every best effort to train our staff about the beers and how to fill a growler. That being said, they are not employed by the breweries, nor are they representatives of the breweries, and their resumes will probably never say professional growler filler and all around beer snob that knows exactly what every beer on earth tastes like. (whew!) Ok...we charge you for 64oz of beer. If you get a little more than that, well lucky day! At times while filling your growler the keg may kick. We will offer you the option of purchasing that lesser amount at a fair rate, or dumping it out and choosing something else. Kegs are not bottomless. If they were it would be a better world! We also will fill a 2 liter German style growler up to its fill line. (Remember, 2 liters = 67.6oz) 4) A growler should stay fresh in your refrigerator anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks, depending on the style of beer and conditions. We will try to fill until foam comes out and then cap it quickly. Ive actually tried an IPA six weeks later and outside of some loss of hop character, it was perfectly fine. 5) Finally, we ask that you are patient, respectful, Kind and considerate when getting your growler filled. We are a small store doing our best to accommodate everyone that we can. We feel that we have the best meat in town, a good selection of great local products, and an above average selection of craft beer. All that and convenience too! Thanks and see you soon!
