Ok sooo to super or not to super is the question. Weve got a hive started from packaged bees. It had a late start however its picking up steam. Currently comprised of 2 deeps. The second deep is now all drawn out comb however only half the frames either have honey, brood or pollen. Should we be adding a shallow this late in the season or will that distract the bees from filling the drawn out comb with honey?
