Ok soooo Ive seen about 10 people share this article praising its contents BUT Im not!! I find a couple of things wrong with this article: 1. The lady that wrote this said, They(her parents) rarely played with us. I find this SAD!! And I feel that just because her parents rarely played with her doesnt give her the right to criticize those parents such as myself that makes sure on a daily basis that I play with my children. 2. No special Christmas jammies. Very few decorations, if any. We didnt even make cookies. I find this very sad too!!! And once again dont criticize me just because I want to make those memories with my kids and family. 3. We do not need to make our childrens childhood magical. Childhood is inherently magical, even when it isnt perfect. FALSE....childhood is NOT inherently magical this is just not true....some kids dont get to have that magical childhood and perhaps it is nice for someone to try and make it magical for them. Honestly I feel this article was written by someone that is just upset that her parents apparently didnt spend enough time with her!! And just because her parents didnt doesnt mean she had the right to put down on parents, such as myself, that plans, prepares, and executes things to give my kids a magical childhood!!!
