Ok sorry about the rant, but I just had a call from the Toronto police service about my hit and run incident, when I was backed into twice by a mini van driver, who didnt bother to get out of the car to see if I was ok... Then drove off. So according to the police because, I instinctively put my hand out to defend myself from getting hit, the car didnt technically hit me and the driver is not at fault. So essentially, I should have just been hit by the car and possibly then maybe a charge would have stuck. Also, that I didnt identify to the driver through tears, or verbally that I was hurt that I am at fault, sorry... Didnt get to tell her as she was driving away from me! So ppl to get @torontopolice to listen, you must be either DOA, under a car, or letting your assailant know that heh, Im really hurt... Will they react.. Shameful!
