Ok status. I really would like a pedal-powered steampunk blimp. Theres that guy from Calgary that was going to pedal a roofed-canoe from Canada to Hawaii. I could pedal behind him in a pedal-powered blimp. But I guess that imagination is just a reaction from growing up in worlds largest oil and gas field regions and still not having enough to afford my own car yet. 2010 earthquake in Haiti again, 2011 tsunami in Japan again, 2012 Titanic tip-over again, 2013 meteor exploded over Russia again, 2014 plane disappeared again. I wonder whats going to happen in 2015. Technology doesnt seem to change whats going to happen again. Theres always the economic or high school Classics social collapse scenario. mixed and mashed up with all sorts of weird fast messaging sent instantly by telegraph cloud to high power radio stations trying to sell radios to middle class suburbs. i wonder what the newest statistics and thermal images of population tracking look like. Im not planning to do anything that would raise taxes or raise insurance rates or raise eyebrows. Just going to go up on a ladder and a sloping backyard in subzero weather to hang Christmas lights from the hedge and roof, start training on a water reservoir to skate an off-rink marathon at minus 35 windchill, froze my kneecaps the last time I did that, this time I bring ToughBuilt knee armor, or maybe get on a plane and start a high liability desk job with no temp insurance and get fat snacking on garlic knots, its pretty much guaranteed since Im almost 50.
