Ok, the guy makes some valid points in this video. HOWEVER, there was NO REASON for him to refuse to answer the questions. Like it or not he was made aware of a DUI checkpoint and choose to proceed threw it giving officers the right to ask questions. When he said he wasnt gonna answer he choose to give the cops the right to detain him on suspicion of drinking and driving. Yes, the cop should of told him he was being detained and y. But if u ask me because he choose to go threw the LEGAL checkpoint he put himself in a position where during the checkpoint cops are legally allowed to ask questions and ask for ID without cause. Well, when u go threw a checkpoint cops are legally allowed to use suspicion of a DUI to pull u over and investigate without you breaking any laws or driving bad ect... The ONLY reason this guy had a problem from the officers was HIS FAULT. Personally I would have thought he was drinking or had something to hide to from his ignorant attitude. U CANT act like that and expect cops to not become suspicious. And NORMALLY the cops wouldnt have had a right to do what they did but because it was a checkpoint the laws change giving cops an automatic reason to be suspicious of everyone who enters it and to proceed the way they did with him, UNFORTUNATELY!! Sorry, but in this case he brought that on himself.
