Ok, this feels so good. The ability to teach a very old style of ojibwe art to our people in the very place that tried to erase our culture, gave me such a wonderful feeling. The boarding school era ran its course, and failed miserably at assimilating our beautiful people. Here we are today building moccasins, speaking ojibwe and defending our culture once again. This time the world realises our gifts as unique and special. Miigwetch to all the warriors of our culture, past and present.
