Ok, this is a new one for me... It appears a commercial station in the Wichita, KS market - KDGS - has been ordered to change frequencies to accommodate the move in of a NCE station located on a commercial frequency. If you look at the paperwork for the NCE stations application, it appears they requested that the Commission force KDGS to move. KDGS is requested to change to Channel 228C3 by Order to Show Cause Looking at the coverage maps, it appears the NCE station is getting one heck of an upgrade - itll be one of the best signals in the market. KDGS is taking a bit of a hit. Ive never heard of such a thing happening before. I always thought moves like this one were brought on by money exchanging hands, not one station asking the Commission to force another to change their facilities.
