Ok this may be a long post but Im going to try and clear up some confusion in regards to Aubrey. She does (and has always had since Thursday) bacterial pneumonia. It is still present in her right lung. From what I was told, X-rays lag behind an actual pneumonia diagnosis, especially in squirmy 1.5 year olds. So just because he X-ray was clear last Thursday means nothing. Her right lung still has some sounds of pneumonia in it although she is better. Shes still wheezing and tight all over. So she needs to continue her antibiotic and 3 nebulizers. At this point theyre holding off on resuming the oral steroids again because shes been on them so much lately. Shell go back to the pedi on Friday morning to be checked out and make sure shes still getting better. She is still pretty sick although not as sick as she was last week. Shes starting to get her appetite back as well. She ate almost half of her dinner last night. Thats the most shes ate since last Wednesday. For the time being Aubrey can not be around any kids or be out in public. Were basically shutting ourselves up in our house and avoiding the outside world as much as possible.
