Ok, this may be long so if you want to skip it feel free to do so. Today was an AWESOME DAY. I was told not once but TWICE that I was PERFECT! Shelly was my witness. I went to my radiation appointment and after my 8 min of radiation on Mondays I meet with my radiation oncologist to check in, order any refills and make sure I am not having any issues. The nurse was the first to say, after checking my vitals and asking questions, that I was perfect. Then Dr. Barker came in later and he said he had the results from the blood work they had done this morning and it looked great. He said you are perfect. I was happy and then he said you are healthier that me. I was so excited! So just for the record, everything looks great, I will do radiation and chemo until Oct 27, I will have an MRI the Monday after Thanksgiving, hopefully between 10 and no later than 2 so we arent fighting Dallas rush hour traffic. Then depending on what that shows the doctor will tell us what the next steps are. We have already been told it could be 5 days of chemo and/or radiation then it will be 23 days without treatment. Then another 5 days of treatment and 23 days without and that could be up to a year. So we appreciate the prayers, notes, text, cards in the mail and any other communication. Please keep the prayers going. The Lord is smoothing things out so many ways and I know it is an answer to the prayers. Please know that if you have any thing I can do for you I will gladly do so. Love each of you so much.
