Ok this past weekend we towed the jeep .probably about (6000 lbs) to northeast pa. With the 98 ford expedition... on some of the hills we were down to 10 mph in the backroad.s and the very back roads even put it on low range. We already have a built up trans. However that 5.4 is a gutless pig...... what would yall recommend if you were to keep it.... I know people are gonna say diesel and whatnot.... buy I already know that answer. Im looking at other options to get the 5.4 up to par to at least go 40 on them back roads
