Ok...time for a rant lol. I am extremely angry over the salaries of NFL players. We chatted about this at work yesterday and it makes me VERY angry to think that on average these players make anywhere from 20 million to 55 million a year. WHAT??? This is just my opinion and maybe I am opening myself up to some negative comments but SERIOUSLY??? Yes these athletes bust their ass, yes they devote their life to the sport, yes they put on a great game to watch but you add that $ up per player...now think of this...Our husbands, sons and brothers...our nephews and grandsons...our wifes, daughters and sisters...our nieces and granddaughters ARE PUTTING THEIR LIFES ON THE LINE EVERY SINGLE FLIPPIN DAY so we can sit on our couches and watch these players make ridiculous money for our entertainment!! Give that money to the Military men and woman...their families that struggle every single day not knowing if their loved ones will ever make it home!!!! Please dont get me wrong, I love my country...am very proud of the red, white and blue but this country of ours DOES NOT HAVE ITS PRIORITIES IN CHECK!!! It sickens me that we do NOT do more for who protects us!!! We cant even say shame on them...its truly SHAME ON US!!! Feeling very angry!!!!! RANT OVER!
