Ok.. time for my list of 10 random things about me. 1) When I was a kid we moved AT LEAST every two years, sometimes every year. Ive went to 13 different schools between jk and grade 12. 2) My mom collected animals like I collect fabric and dolls. One time we had 30 dogs. In town. The neighbours were pissed. 3) I once had a pet Starling. It was the best bird I ever had. He was friendly to every one, and talked. He also used to ride on the dogs back and pick off her fleas. I found him as a fledgling near my chicken coop. 4) I used to live across the street from one of the KFC chicken barns. Every once in a while a chicken would get free when they were catching them to take them to slaughter. I would find it, bring it home, and make it my pet. Every once in a while mom would feed us one of them, letting us know who we were eating half way through the meal. Im still a bit scarred from this. 5) Ive been with my hubby since October 1st, 1996. We frequently forget our wedding anniversary, but we have celebrated October 1st every year without fail. This is probably because we were already committed before we got married and only got married to shut up the religious relatives. 6) I am insanely jealous of people with close families. I miss having my mom and dad and sister around like you would not believe. I probably cry about this every day. 7) I sew quilts in my spare time to donate to charity. Mostly they go to funding the church, funding Gillians place, and funding christmas at community care. With my help, our group donates about $1000 each to these places each year, plus about 15 quilts get donated to Gillians place and Community care. So if youve ever wondered why my dining room is so full of fabric and sewing stuff, thats why. 8) I would rather sew doll clothes than people clothes. Dolls dont outgrow things, or complain. My daughter probably has more doll clothes than 99% of the kids out there... maybe more than that. 9) I have this idea that I would love to live in the country, and have chickens and a pony and all that stuff... Then I go to Toronto and think... jeez.. how on earth would I live away from everything.. Id get so bored. So I end up on the middle ground and stay in St.Catharines. 10) I get seriously offended when people say dont worry, youll get a better house one day I frigging LOVE my house, I LOVE my neighbours. Why the hell would I want to move??? But, still they say it.. Eff them and their materialistic ways.. Besides.. if I got a bigger house, Id just fill it up with MORE fabric.. lol
