Ok vet check went well for Ms Pepper with blood results to come tomorrow. She has been put on some stuff for her ulcers and we have decided to see how her eye goes without the drops as the vet is stumped as to what it could be. She is happy that Pepper is in no pain and swelling is gone. So no treatment over the weekend and see how she goes. She just has to have ulcer treatments for now. She does seem much brighter since having two feeds per day as well as hay. Lucy had a bandage change today and was putting good weight on her leg. She seems to have less pain and no significant swelling. The new bandage is a different colour :) I also need more Elastoplast for the first aid kit. All other horses are happy and healthy as are all other animals. Im a little sore tonight but at least Im not dizzy and head achey like last night, think I had some kind of illness as it wasnt like low blood pressure. Could have been dehydration. Anyway I decided turkey drumsticks are grose but the paster I made with seafood, rice paster, coconut milk, veggies and a little quinoa was lovely, oh and a few herbs n spices, looking forward to left overs for lunch.
