Ok...was talking to a patron in the check-out line at Rite-Aid about the weather here in Michigan. We both agreed that it was definitely enough to make you wanna pack up and leave for good. I shared with him that I was just waiting on my daughter to get out of High School this year, and he shared the same, as his daughter is also graduating this year. He then went on to say, Well, Ive just got 10 more years at Chrysler before I can go anywhere. So, I said to him, Why dont you make plans to create your own business and go when your heart desires? Then, he said, I wish that I could, but I cant. So I asked, Why? He replies, Again, I have 10 years left at Chrysler, but I wish that I could. I said, Stop wishing, and do it. He says, Well, I never wanted to be there from day 1. So I asked, How many years have you worked for them? He replies, 20 years. I then replied very passionately, I must say, So.....WHY WOULD YOU GIVE THEM 10 MORE YEARS if you dont have to? Take a leave of absence if you must while you pull your head together on what youre going to do next for your life instead of dragging into your job mentally enslaved to the concept that youve GOTTA be there or else. You owe it to yourself to at least give your self a CHANCE of true happiness by doing what your heart desires - your lifes TRUE PURPOSE sooner than later! Dont you think you owe that to you? Listen...I know a couple of people who had plans to start pursuing their dreams after they retired, and they never lived to see the day. MAKE IT HAPPEN young man...MAKE IT HAPPEN! He then laughed and said, Youre right...youre right. I didnt think about that. Listen... you cant be SCARED to CREATE what has been YOURS from the beginning. Its up to you to MAKE IT HAPPEN! I invite you to DO JUST THAT...MAKE IT HAPPEN! Start making steps towards that process NOW for YOU.
