Ok, we are back online after a very special passage from Penrhyn Cooks Island. We chose a window of no wind and flat sea to come back to French Polynesia. We left on Wednesday and on Sunday we were close to arrival, less then 100 miles or 20 hours away. Out off the blue, the wind started to blow hard right in our nose, up to 30 knots! Our journey was delayed for 3 days. We had to zigzag around trying not to go backward and made as little progress as 7 miles in those 3 very uncomfortable days. The winds died off Wednesday so we could make head ways and we finally arrived yesterday morning. I can tell you that the beer was VERY good! There is lots of post I havent the chance to post so I will spread them over time in chronological order but we are now back to Bora Bora and happy to have a little catch up on our sleep!
