Ok yall, I gotta share something that Gods been dealin with my heart on. We Christians need to realize that everything we do & dont do reflects on other Christians, & more than that, it reflects on GOD. How can the world see the awesomeness of our Father if were complaining, bein hurtful, hateful, gossipin, puttin each other down, etc. We have got to be mindful of how we make God look. Even in our day to day living. Before we go out to eat, we should count in a VERY good tip. Lets show the world how blessed we are. Christians (yes, unfortunately Im guilty) have done just the opposite. We allow the server to be short changed in the tip. Jesus said Give, & you will receive. David & I have learned that, if we tip well, God blesses us with something. You can complain that your server wasnt sufficient, or the food wasnt right, but show a Christlike response. Be forgiving, be kind, be a light. We need to follow Jesus example, not the worlds. We had to go to the tax collectors office the last time we were home. The lady who called us to her window was.... short with her responses (almost snippy), had a scowl on her face & no matter how nice (you know David, always jokin) we were, she didnt change her attitude. But we didnt allow our attitudes to change, & before we left, she was laughin & jokin with us. Im not tryin to say were all great or anything, Im just sayin that if we all do our best to shine, then GOD will be able to shine through us & make the day brighter for everyone. I love yall! B
