Ok you guys.. I am so anxious! We will keep yall updated! This is Cheddar and he is a feral cat that showed up one day about 3 years ago. We have been feeding him and even though we couldnt touch him he quickly became a part of the family. Today I went outside to cheddar laying at the bottom of the stairs screaming trying to crawl to the porch to food. When I went to get him.. of course being feral, he did his best to run away. He appeared to have a broken back. I chased him ahout 20 feet until until he collapsed and was able to scruff him and put him in a crate. He was ravenous.... He ate and drank. We called the emergency hotline and since we told them that he was eating, drinking and using the bathroom with no problems. They said to bring him in first thing in the morning. So I have been changing him, feeding him, turning him, and even giving him Tramadol for pain. I am hoping this is going to be a happy ending.. we will keep you updated. Alexa
