Okay---heres how its gonna go down today. All volunteers weve spoken with please show up at Cecils between 1-1:30. We will have a quick meeting to assign duties and get everyone working. 1. I have three people I have okayed to bring stuff last minute to the event for donation. We have over 70 items right now and its a lot to handle so we wont be taking anymore last minute auction/raffle donations: because we have to make signs and paper trails and raffle boxes and labels for every item and I dont have time to do that anymore. Thats why the deadline was last night. If you do have things to donate, we will keep a list of contact names and phone numbers and set something up at a later date. Or you can sell it yourself and donate the money to kids fund. 2. Raffle ticket sales end at 9:30. Raffle ticket drawings will start after the bands end at 10pm. Now, as much as I would like to make a grand show of having a visible drawing for every item, we have over 50 raffle drawings to do, so they will be done privately and then we will Announce all the names of the winners. If the winners are not present, they will receive a text message notifying them of their win. SILENT AUCTION WINNERS SHOULD BE PRESENT TO PAY FOR AND TAKE THEIR ITEM WITH THEM. AUCTION ENDS AT 9pm. 3. Anyone, I repeat, anyone can purchase raffle tickets or bid on the auction-so that includes bar employees, and anyone helping out with the fundraiser and anyone who has a dime to give. If you have loose change, bring it. There will be a jar set up for couch change donations. You wouldnt believe how it can add up. This gives everyone a chance to contribute also, no matter how small. 4. Need tarps. Please bring tarps if you have them. 5. Im excited. 6. PLEASE REPOST
