Okay- this has to be the UGLIEST fish ever painted but... well... I get distracted by shiny stuff... especially art supplies and setting up my new recycled antique typewriter desk which is PERFECT as a multi-purpose studio easel/taboret combination. It holds my brushes in a nice drawer easy to see and the brush cleaner settles below perfectly within reach. The flip up painting surface is at a perfect height and holds larger canvases great with a minor alteration. Anyway I nearly ran out of time to actually paint and had to whip out this horrid little fish. It is impasto and will eventually be painted over. DAY ONE: DONE.
