Okay Abdelrahman Hennawy I can now officially (thanks to you) comment to one of your posts, reveiw your posts since 2 weeks, and all you will see is irrational, meaningless arguments and comments of you criticizing Hamas and justifying the Israeli invasion, which btw I dont mind at all...I mean it is okay if that makes feel good and better abt yourself... or makes you feel triumphed and unique, but it is so contridicting, and lacks sense on basis of argument! You cheer, support and justify Israel right of defenending itself, stating the it is Hamas that provoked Israel, neglecting the fact that Israel have been killing Palestinians since 1948 even before Hamas existed! (For you knowledge Hamas existed in the 80s) yet you are calling yourself a Pacifist! My friend a pacifist will not be justifying killing, there is an amazing Pacifist with the name of Rachel Corrie, she went to Palestine to advocate her views of peace, and ooops! She was killed by the Israeli Army! I Guess, your comments at that time would have been, okay... why was she defending a palestinian home, or standing in front of a an Israeli tank, didnt she have brains! (Just like your latest status msg. Criticising the Egyptian activists that were trying to go to Gaza today to give support and aid to the people of Gaza) but we will come to this later! You are calling yourself a leftist, yet saying that there is no point of Resistance! Again, dont mind this, yet what interest me really is your argument... you are saying that I dont want anymore Palestinians to die for no reason. First, of all they are dying for a reason, which their own land and country...Secondly, I guess now that if you were living in Egypt at time of the Israeli occupation of Sinai, you would have said that the soldiers dying during the war with Israel are dying for no reason, right? Why should you die, when you can live in peace, and just aknowledge the fact that your land was occupied, and who cares, it is a reality now that you cant change, right? I guess if you were living at the time of the Egyptian/israeli war you would have said that the resistance of the brave men of Suez, portsaid and Ismalia was unnecessary! And that any violent reaction from Israel would have been justified right? Cause according to you, why provoking Israel when they have an army and more powerful?! Guess what my friend, this is the essence and meaning of resistance! And I am using the Egyptian example very often, because guess what! It is the SAME! because Israel is an occuping force. (Incase you forgot, or dont know), also when in history it is said, that an occuping force have the right to defend itself! Cause according to you, Israel had the right to kill thousands of Egyptians during its war with Egypt... right? Then, here is when it get very funny! What you say you support and advocate is the one state soloution where all Palestinians become Israeli citizens... And funny enough, the basis of your argument and soloution is South Africa, neglecting the fact, that what made this soloution at first place was the South African people resistance, led by Mandela! In case you dont know, I can tell you details of this resistance as it wasnt peaceful at all! Infact, Mandela was declared by the USA a terrorist! Ooop! Same as Hamas! Just because he is resistance to inequality and injustice! Yet Mandela later on was considered as an international symbol and figure, and later awarded the Nobel prize! History only recognise those who are strong enough to struggle my friend! Not to mention that geographically now, and with the wall and settlements built everyday, that will never be possible, and guess what! Israel knows that! And this is what Israel wants! As for Hamas! I am against a lot of what it does btw... and a lot of what it stands for, yet I cant deny it is normal right of resistance... not to mention, whether we like it or not, they were democraticly elected by palestinians, in an election, former president of the US Carter, called it Fair, yet since then, the world abondened it, neglecting the peoples choice, and Mahmoud Abbas, canceled the Parliament elections, and presidential elections, establishing himself as an illegitimate President or dictator. But here is the thing that made me really sick! You are also criticizing those brave activists who were trying to go to Gaza to give aid and support to the people of Gaza! Is this how ridiculous you can get? Despite the fact that I know lots of them, and they are great people and friends that I know, like Taher Mukhtar Salma Said Harara and others, who dont need fame as you stated, or a propaganda as you said... but what is intresting is you are saying, what were they thinking? That the Egyptian army would have let them in, at time of a ground invasion, so that if one of them died it will cause a diplomatic conflict between Egypt and israel! Do you actually think so? Man, I can count you several incidents, when not activists, but Egyptian Soldiers standing on borders with Israel, shot dead by israelis and it didnt cause any conflict! You know why, because part of the war on Gaza, is sadly the Egyptian Army! Cause while Israel is bombing Gaza, Egypt is proudly besieging it! An action, that will stain our history for years! The army didnt allow those brave activists and doctors, because it would have embarrassed the traitor government, and the criminal Sisi who is in power now. So basically, what you are advocating is, lets all watch while a whole city is being bombed and people are massacred in cold blood! So, instead of making fun of everything, really try to understand what is going on, or at least base your arguments on strong arguments! I will attach to this comment some pictures, maybe you get something out of it, and know what you are advocating and talking about here, meanwhile I will involve, a great and inspiring person Mark LeVine, as I think his feed to your comments if you have any will be intresting, at least we can all benefit in the end!
