Okay. After yesterdays big announcement from me that I was going on sabbatical from Facebook ... I guess Im back. WTF, you ask? Well, to be perfectly honest with you, I decided to leave Facebook because I felt that my life might be in some sort of danger from a very volatile and unstable individual. This person andI had a bit of verbal joust here on my FB page a couple of days ago, and, just because I disagreed with her on a couple of philosophical points, she felt like I was attacking her, and she went on a very personal attack against me. (There is no sense for you to go looking for this exchange because this person has since deleted all of her comments in the discussion.) In personal emails to me, this so-called friend of mine told me that she blamed me for Mary Ellens death. She said that I dis honored Mary by dating again. She also lamented that the wrong person in that relationship died, and she expressed the hope that I would die soon. Add to all of that a case of stolen identity, which I dont wish to go into in this public forum, but will be happy to divulge to you in private emails or phone conversations if you request, and I got pretty damned spooked. (Shades of Misery and Fatal Attraction!) But then, after a meeting tonight with a very good friend of mine, I came to the conclusion that this seriously demented individual was not going to have any governance whatsoever over my life. So, no matter how melodramatic this whole surreal episode sounds to you, I decided that I am not going to be intimidated, and I am back.
