Okay, Allison Harding Harding, here goes; 7 facts about me; i) I have been to Israel can read Hebrew and have a certificate to prove it. ii) My Gt (x ?) Uncle - John Critten - built the Beauchamp Lifeboat which foundered in 1901 and created the saying Caister Men Never Turn Back. Crittens Road in Cobholm is named after him and his boatyard. iii) I have metal detected for over 30 years, and have a collection of finds (some of which date back to the 1st century) but which have all been checked and logged with the PAS. iv) I have seen Riverdance twice in London, once with Michael Flatley taking the lead and once with Colin Dunn. v) Was Cup Steward with the Great Yarmouth & Gorleston District Canine Society for 21 years. vi) Have been over Norwich in a Hot Air Balloon and crash landed. The Pilot said it was the 3rd worst landing he had ever had. Some of us had whip lash and we were all very shocked. We were dragged for 250 yards in a stubble field :-( vii) I won a competition for 2 tickets for The Proms at the Royal Albert Hall and saw Nigel Kennedy, plus a visit to his Jazz Club and 2 signed CDs. I nominate Sarah Collins, Martin Collins and Chris Armour to now dish the dirt on 7of their achievements :-)
