Okay. Here is my rant for the month... As an employee of Kroger, I can tell you there is nothing worse than waiting all day for the store to close only to be held up by selfish people deciding to fill a buggy at five minutes before midnight. Anyone who works with the public can relate to this. Here is my question. Why? If you know the store closes at midnight, why not schedule your shopping trip appropriately? Once you have been at work for 8 hours, the sweet release of clocking out is all you can think about. Especially after dealing with rude customers who are complaining over the digital coupon that didnt come off their order (like I can fix this with the power of my mind) and people who would rather bring a cashier close to tears than pay the extra two cents for the toilet paper they just know was supposed to be on sale. So, to close, have a little compassion...be considerate. If you only have one or two items to buy, we understand if you come in that late. But really? An entire buggy...or three? (Yes, this has happened on multiple occasions) Just remember, the people waiting on you have a life to get back to...and your inconsiderate behavior only makes them want to get drunk and slash your tires. That is all.
