Okay I am a little confused and need some clarification. I know this is my 2nd pregnancy but its been 4 years since I was pregnant so I just need to prove some people wrong (ahem. Michele Jessica Melissa Michael Matt ahem.) I took my pregnancy test (3 of them) on 3/23. I went to the doctors on 4/2 and when I got my sonogram the embryo was measuring at 4w4d. Meaning when I took my test I was only TWO weeks pregnant. I was 4 weeks to the day when I found out with Charlee. I didnt even think It was possible to find out at 2 weeks but everyone is saying that my hormones (the ones that give you a positive pregnancy test reading... estrogen levels or something) were at a high level causing the test to be positive at 2w pregnant. . And that this only happens when youre pregnant with twins. Now twins run heavily in Matts family and I have twins on my side but just cousins nothing immediate like Matt. I asked the sonographer if there was twins during the test and she said it was too early to tell and I really couldnt know if it were twins until about 7-9w. My aunt said she found out at 6w she was having twins but the sonographer said thats very rare. Now I guess my question is this all true and has anyone else had a positive pregnancy test at 2w and there was UNO BABY in there? Im driving myself crazy thinking I could be having twins and everyone is saying it and if Im jinxed I swear Im slapping them with the 2nd baby. (JK obvs) We will love whatever we are blessed with ♡
