Okay I dont rant often. I dont watch the news usually because when I was in Iraq I saw a lot of stuff being embellished probably due to the fact which ever news company was trying to boost rating. I usually stick to watching sports channels like ESPN However, it seems they are getting just as bad. Im SICK to death of the Adrian Peterson saga! He paddled his kid with a switch, not a TREE BRANCH how ludicrous is that! My dad used to whoop me with a belt and Im proud to say he did! Most of the time I deserved it! It taught me respect, and discipline. Im not saying go beat your kids but this Adrian Peterson thing has gotta way outta hand. If you wanna put your child in time out our the conner of whatever so be it! If my child needs a spanking then she is gonna get it! Which Ive only had to do twice in her life! She is a good kid and has discipline and respect probably because of it. Im sorry but this county is raising a bunch of pussies who will never be able to think for themselves if everything continues on the way it is. Its not a government problem, or a police problem, or a school problem! Its a parenting problem! If you dont discipline your children (however you do have to love them at the same time) you get people killing other kids in school and doing all sorts of other violence and disrespectful things. I for one stand behind Adrian Peterson from what Ive heard. It is a parents right to discipline their children as long as its not child abuse and as far as I know giving a child a spanking with a switch is not child abuse! For the love of God people grow some balls!
