Okay, I have a bank related question. I had 2 transactions charged - TopicsExpress

Okay, I have a bank related question. I had 2 transactions charged to my account from an unknown card number that is in no way connected to my account. The only card I have is in my possession, in Colombia, but since the person simply had a similar name as mine they charged my account? Now is where it gets tricky. The bank says it was just an honest mistake on their part and apologized, but could they be lying? Saying it was a mistake when it was actually a security breach? My ex-wife, who works in information technology and has a few hacker friends, lives exactly where the card was used... Columbus Ohio. Would the bank lie in a situation like this, to save face? If so that is BS because what if I wanted to press charges? Wouldnt the bank be like aiding and abetting if that is the case? I just find it strange, that of all the places in the world, it was exactly where my ex-wife lives and it happened 2 or 3 days after I caught her with a fake Facebook profile contacting my wife and telling her she is a friend of my ex-wifes and that we are still in a secret relationship and talk late at night when my wife is sleeping. When my mother contacted my ex-wife about the phony profile it was promptly deleted within minutes and she never replied to my mother. Then 2 days later there are 2 charges to my account from exactly where she lives? WTF is up with that?
