Okay. I just had some tup-sakhar-poli right now and its the real deal. It made me think again. We Indians have so many small things which we tend to ignore in this era of westernization. Puran polis as opposed to pancakes. Vada-pavs as opposed to burgers. Modaks as opposed to sweet momos. I am a big time foodie and I love Indian food. People go to KFC just because its cool. Tandoori chicken tastes 10 times better than that stuff. We have all sorts of sweets too. Nothing compares to a Kaju Katli or a jalebi. Pastries and cakes are cool but are so expensive just because they are made at a cool food joint with lots spent on branding and marketing. I am not highly patriotic or anything but I love Indian food. Western culture is making a fool out of us by overpricing their items and glorifying them as cool. Having said that I am gonna go out for a big fat samosa now. Peace.
