Okay, I know most of you are watching the Packers vs. Cowboys game right now but this is a strange sight that you dont see every day in downtown Wausau: an elephant on a trailer driving down Scott Street!! 😮Lori and I first spotted the truck-trailer combo as we were exiting Wausau Alliance Church at the top of Franklin St. Hill (CTH Z) at 12:30 p.m. We were lucky enough to catch up with the vehicle at a stoplight at 3rd and Scott. I motioned for the female passenger to roll the pickups window down with a questioning look on my face, frantically pointing to the towering object resting on the trailers flatbed. When I inquired whats the story with the elephant? she said this display is on its way to a client in Pennsylvania. The female passenger asked if I had heard of the Calihari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. I said yes. The woman continued that it will be installed at a similar resort location in PA. Does anybody know who built this? Wausau Tile maybe? Its very authentic!
