Okay, I know this is a tiny photo, but its the best I could do. Im looking for an opinion from raw feeders. Over the past 9 months, Ive found about 12 small pieces (1/2 inch - about the size of a dime) of hard black plastic in the ground beef that I buy for my hounds at the raw food supplier. Ive given some to the supplier so he can look into it but obviously nothing was done as in the last couple of months, Ive found four more pieces. Ive put them in my freezer (I dont wash them off, just freeze them). There arent a lot of places that sell raw meat, so I havent switched suppliers yet. Im keeping in mind that the pieces I have are what the one I HAVE FOUND and what is readily visible to the naked eye. What about the stuff that is too small to see or that have slipped through my scrutiny? Now I have to sift through the meat carefully. I was going to go and blast them today when I found the latest plastic piece, but Im wondering how angry I should get. Has this happened to anyone else and if so, what did you do?
