Okay, I know this is where Ill tick-off many of my hunting friends, but this is just wrong. This is not hunting. First, no wild deer looks like this. It just doesnt happen or seldom happens. These deer are feed so many non-natural minerals and vitamins, in such a non-natural amount ...well, you go to some hunting, game farm and bag one of these, you have no right to call yourself a hunter. Second, they are almost as tame as a dog. You cant go to one of these farms, sit in a tree stand, have a hormone-laden, pet deer walk under your stand, shoot it, and then claim youre a hunter. Its not right. These types of hunts are nothing short of a supermarket hunt. High-powered rifles, infrared scopes (night-hunting scopes), range finders, etc. and etc., and whats next? Drones flying through the air looking for deer? My opinion, there is to much science in hunting now. Perhaps not as many people use it in my neck of the woods, but with the money, its available. Im not trashing game-farm hunts either. But come one folks, admit it. You want a rack like from one of these bucks to put on the wall and the urge to game farm hunt takes over. Resist it. Think how your father, grandfather, and earlier ancestors hunted (and many hurters are and were women)! When I see a rack on someones wall, Id like to think it was taken by hunting, not science and caged, pet deer who are on nothing short but steroids. Okay Facebook hunting friends, tell me where and how Im wrong. I know its coming.
