Okay I need to talk to you people out there in facebook land. The Facebook Messenger APP is seriously not taking pictures of you, its not relaying your location back to anyone. Its asking you for permission to use those features of your phone because it has features you want! You want to share a picture with a friend, well then the app needs access to your gallery/storage. Want to take a pic (without leaving the app) then the app needs permission to talk to your camera. One feature it has is to tell ppl your location when you message them. I dont care for this feature. I actually dont care for most GPS shit in the phone - so I have my phone GPS turned off (yes Im quite aware the NSA, FBI, CIA, etc can still track me, but you dont need to know where Im at when I message you sorry). Try installing almost any messenger app and its going to ask for the same permissions. Trust me I use 3 other messaging apps. This over-reaction needs to stop. There are much bigger fish to fry.
