Okay...I need to vent. I cannot stand black Friday....it reflects two sides of the most greedy kinds. On one side....the retailers moving to push the great sale, yet are they really on sale? Meanwhile, people line up at weird hours...pushing and shoving, and screaming at each other just to get that cheap electronics deal. It reflects greed....and this is NOT what this holiday is suppose to reflect! It is about giving.... Have we become such inconsiderate animals that we forget what the Christmas spirit is all about? Every year....my Christmas is made by someone unique. I look for it. One year, it was a simple 100 page book given to me by a man named Steve Jevons (The Christmas Box). Another year, it was a simple song sung in a Christmas play . Another year, it was my mother-in-law Donna Jean Bootz giving me a book set I didnt think she could afford. Another year, it was a gift from my wife....and so on. It has NEVER been an electronic device found at a black Friday sale. It has always been something that stirred my heart. This year....I am waiting and watching for that blessing from someone uniquely being thoughtful. THANKFUL, that Black Friday is almost done.
