Okay, I said before the season started that at some point in the season the team would be tested and they would rally around The quarterback (whoever that was) and it would solidify that quarterback as the undisputed leader of the team. Faced with the turnovers that Alabama committed today and being tied 21-21, that happened today. But it wasnt the team that rallied around the quarterback, it was the fans. The players already knew who the leader of this team is. It took a little longer for us fans to really come around. Folks, Blake Sims is THE quarterback on this team. No more competitions, no more controversy and no more second guessing. 23/33 for 444 yards and 4 TDs.......nough said. I got a little frustrated today today but at no point did I ever think we were in real trouble. Remove the turnovers and this game is an absolute blowout. The defense played an outstanding game. Landon Collins is an irreplaceable type player. Amari Cooper, despite what that idiot Verne Lumdquist says, is a Heisman finalist. This was by far....BY FAR....the most physical game Bama has played to date. Its Florida...its the SEC, after all. A few things got settled today besides the QB thing: Collins as a leader on this defense, Reggie Ragland as a true headhunter, and our offensive line as a very good pass blocking line (1 sack that was actually a coverage sack IMO). A well deserved week off awaits them a brutal run through the SEC West. Roll Tide!!!!!!
